They then wove the vines into these beautiful baskets. Local Horticultural Therapsit, Aimee Taylo then assited with planting up the containors.
Herbal Tea Chains
Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Lori Weidehammer led us in a herbal tea chain workshop where participants learned to identify health-giving herbs, dried fruits and spices. While enjoying the pleasure of each others company, community members created herbal tea chains to take home to make their own infusions.

On May 28, Moberly attended the annual South Hill Street Festival just west of Fraser Street here in Vancouver. This community event brings out hundreds of neighbours to enjoy performances, food, and cultural offerings. Cultivating Connections had Sharon Kallis lead community members in a demo on weaving with green waste materials. In this case we used: willow and the infamous, invasive english ivy. These circular pieces will be integrated into the new Trellis Art Piece at the Moberly Herb Garden. Construction takes place on - June 21, 22, 28, 29 at 6-9PM.
